Celebrating Rational Comics 1st Anniversary

Hurray!

It’s been 1 year since we first launched! It started way back with the ‘Beta Launch‘ post. It’s been a pretty long journey and I’m happy with what we have achieved. We have had 53 comics and counting. We have gotten over a thousand followers on Facebook, and hundreds of followers on other social media. And every week more people hear about our website and our community.

In short, in one year, we have gone from nothing to making a small mark on the internet.

I have learnt a lot in this one year too. Things like content marketing, PR, how to run a website, keeping a publishing schedule, social media marketing, I have been doing them all. I still have a lot to learn, but I have a good grasp on it now.

I want to thank the art team. As I’ve said before, without their support, this won’t have been possible.

I want to thank all our readers, fans, followers and subscribers for your support in building this project and our community. There would be little point if we did all this and there was no one to read it.

Thank you all for breaking ground together in our first year of Rational Comics.

I hope for another year of comics to teach, enlighten and inspire you all.

The future of Rational Comics

I’m glad to say, that as of today, we are off ‘beta’ and will continue making comics as before. Though now, we will have new comics weekly at best, if not, comics fortnightly at second best. This is due to unpredictability in the scheduling and other activities that are taking up my time.

I’l looking into a Patreon for Rational Comics soon. (More on that in next week’s post when I reveal the survey results).

The best kept secret so far is that we are in the mist of creating products for Rational Comics. All I can say now is that the product will be: more comics that you all love. Stay tuned for that too.
