039: Marc Guberti – 6 Elements of a Power Tweet
“Although having millions of followers like Ellen and Obama helps out, it is possible for any tweet with these six elements in play to emerge as a power tweet.” – Marc Guberti
This was drawn by Smar. You can find her other work and comics on her Tumblr blog.
This comic is based on the original article of the same name by Marc Guberti. Just like this one, Marc’s blog is full of listicles and instructables, or both. His blog focuses on online business topics. He himself is a Twitter expert.
It was a challenge for me to make this article into a comic, because of it’s instructive and bullet point nature. Still, it got done. Hope you all find it useful.
I can’t over state the importance of social media for new startups to market themselves. I take this piece of advice directly from Guy Kawasaki, who mentions this multiple times, like in his book The Art of Social Media. Here at Rational Comics, it’s one of the only ways we market ourselves. Twitter is our best performing social media platform, followed by Facebook. This surprised me, but also goes to show that you should try all the social media platforms and see what works, rather than limit yourself.
If you want to know how to go about using social media for your business, but don’t have the time to read books about it, then I strongly recommend Marc’s blog. His bite sized articles will make you into a power user in no time.
